The Colonial Room

The Colonial Room is a tribute to The Pitcher Inn’s early days as a simple 18th-century farmhouse now at the center of the  village of Warren, Vermont. Our staff member will prepare either twin beds or a single king-sized bed as you wish.

Originally, the Colonial Room was to have an even simpler design however partway through construction the room was embellished with wallpaper, painted molding, drapery, and more sophisticated furnishings that lend the room sweeter if slightly southern flair. 

Architect Courtney Fisher executed the design of the room, and the Library below it while acting as the historical consultant on the entire Inn project. 

A wood burning fireplace adds warmth to the room in colder weather, and lace curtains pull back to reveal Main Street and the Warren Store located across the street.
